Community

We believe that as corporate citizens, we have a responsibility to make our world a better place. That’s true whether we’re acting in the corporate sphere or contributing to the community. Resolute staff members get great satisfaction (and have some fun as well) supporting community events and causes as a team. Some of Resolute’s community contributions are:

The Manitoba Marathon Foundation
Resolute team members laced up their sneakers to run in the Manitoba Marathon. Resolute sponsored two corporate relay teams as well as several customers who ran in the event. To get participants in prime shape, the Resolute Running Club trained weekly with the company donating $1 for each training mile. The Manitoba Marathon Foundation supports people living with an intellectual disability.

 

United Way of Winnipeg
The United Way of Winnipeg is an independent non-profit, non-political organization that brings together resources and people necessary to create changes and provide solutions to prevent issues arising. The United Way focuses on basic needs for a better life: quality education leading to stable jobs, income to support families and health to encourage personal well-being.

Our contributions and support have earned Resolute the titles of Employee Quantum Award for 100% employee participation as well as the Diamond Award for increased average donations per employee.

 

Christmas Cheer Board
The Christmas Cheer Board provides assistance to families in the local community. It offers a personal approach to giving that involves making and delivering a hamper to a needy family.

Resolute employees get involved through assembling a tailor made hamper for a family in need. It's a rewarding experience for all when we personally deliver the hamper.

 

Smitty’s Terminators
Every winning sports team needs a way to keep track of news and schedules and to communicate with fans. Resolute donated its services to support youth community sports by building a team website for the Smitty’s Terminators fast pitch organization.

 

Individual and Corporate Fundraising
Many other events take place at Resolute throughout the year to raise funds to support local communities. Some of these include: technology auctions, early contribution prizes and "jeans day" fundraising. Resolute tops it off with additional corporate matching programs.
